AIEEE

It is a country wide exam conducted by the CBSC authority in India. Almost 8lakh members write this exam every year. These are reputed after the iit's.

Colleges under AIEEE:

18 National Institute of Technologies

05 Deemed universities

79 private institutions

03 Gov funded institutions

02 state universities

Eligibility:

Any student with mpc in the intermediate can write this exam and seats are provided according to the rank obtained by the student the exam conducted.

Academic Qualification:

The minimum academic qualification as prescribed in AIEEE-2008 information bulletin. A pass in the final year exam of 10+2 or its equivalent.

Entrance Exam:

Notification:

Notification for this examination will be released in the month of December.

Application:

-Available in syndicate banks
-application fee 300 for open category and 150 for sc,st candidates.
-application can also be submitted by online

Exam Date:

Exam will be conducted around may last week.

Question paper pattern:

As per 2008 pattern each subject has 35 questions each for 3 marks for a total of 315. for every wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted.

Counselling:

There are two phases of counselling

phase1. on-line counselling

phase2. on campus counselling

About 35,000 ranks will be called for the counselling

next phase cutoff1-cutoff2
next phase cutoff2-cutoff3.

The NIT's are located at Warangal,Suratkal, Calicut, Karnataka, kurukshetra, Tiruchirpally, Hamirpur,Jalandar, Durgapur ,Silchar,Raipur, Patna ,srinagar,
Jamshedpur.
